Joe, I'm sorry if I missed something from CB-2955 or CB-2085, but I didn't understand why or how this is resolved.
I have the same issue, upgrading an app from 2.4/2.5 to 2.6 (highly anticipated by me) and I don't understand what are
my options now.
Is there a patch I can apply, method to override or config option to specify to solve this problem? Or am I to migrate to SQLite using cordova's API?

Btw I got the issue on 4.0.3 and 4.2.2.
