   @jansule thanks for the detailed repro and the link to your fork's fix — sorry this sat. The core question here (how to coordinate color assignment across subcharts in explore/embedded contexts, where `LabelsColorMapSingleton` doesn't apply) is an architectural one that's broader than the cartodiagram plugin. Are you still interested in pursuing this? If so, would you be open to opening a short RFC/discussion outlining the proposed approach so we can get @villebro and other viz folks weighing in? If not, no worries — just let us know and we can label this `help wanted`.
