deep equals implementation

hey all,

posting my own version of something that does this. I found that the
version Kevin posted didn't take into account multiple siblings as it
always went to the first child. In the end I ended up writing my own that
has served my purposes so far. I've attached it for anyone who may need
one. Note that it requires the order of nodes to be equal, so documents
that may be equivalent (if they use the schema type "all") aren't treated
as such.

If anyone finds problems with this, I'd be keen to hear about them, as I'm
relying on it (o:

cheers
