[This spec|http://www.etsi.org/deliver/etsi_gs/NFV-SOL/001_099/004/02.03.01_60/gs_NFV-SOL004v020301p.pdf] from ETSI adds some metadata to CSAR in order to support VNFs. Use the [search page|http://www.etsi.org/standards-search] to see if there is a newer version.

It seems that all we would need to do to support it would be to add validation for the metadata, and possibly allow our CSAR CLI command to be extensible in order to be able to "plug in" support for extraction of this metadata.

I suggest implementing it as a new {{extensions/etsi}} that may continue to grow.
