   Thanks for the insights on the x-axis formatting! I’m using a [time grain]
   and noticed the issue after upgrading to 6.1. Could the adaptive smart date
   formatting be causing the label overlap or timestamp issue? I’ll try the
   workarounds you suggested in the meantime. @dosu

   <!-- Answer -->
   This looks related to recent x-axis formatting changes. [PR #38017](https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/38017) introduced adaptive smart date formatting that makes x-axis labels time-grain-aware - this changed how dates are rendered based on your selected time grain.

   There's also a known issue where [the last x-axis label can show a raw timestamp instead of a formatted date](https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/38083) when using smart date format, which may be contributing to readability problems.

   **Potential workarounds:**
   - If labels are being skipped due to overlap, [casting the date column to STRING and using the "ALL" interval setting](https://github.com/apache/superset/discussions/33581#discussioncomment-13271263) has been reported as a workaround
   - There's also a [checkbox option to force the selected time grain as the x-axis interval](https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/34595) which may give you more control over label display

   Could you share which time grain you're using and whether this started after upgrading to 6.1? That would help narrow down which specific change is causing the issue.

   Hi, could you please share the dataset, chart configuration, or a screenshot to help reproduce this issue?

   I tried creating a timeseries line chart with dense x-axis labels and different rotation angles, but wasn’t able to observe the overlap problem locally.
