Download
Hi,trying to download new version. Being told to stop quick start in order for download to continue??. Have shut everything down but it’s not installing.

Ps. Isn’ t there an easier way to download like other programmes?

The OpenOffice Quickstarter should not affect the download. It can, however affect the installation. You could stop the Quickstarter by right clicking on the blue globe with seagulls in the ystem tray and choosing "Exit" or "quit" from the popup. Alternately, go into TaskManager (Ctrl Shift Esc) and kill any soffice processes shown on Task Manager's Processes tab (Note: soffice). Now you should be able to install.

Unfortunately, the mailserver strips all attachments before
sending the message to the list members.

HI,
I downloaded the new version from the link you mentioned below.
When I tried to install it, I got this error message (see attached).
I searched the MS website for the file but could not find it.
Where can I get that file or is there a work-around?
