   Hi @yittg! Are you still planning on trying to get this into 1.14?
   
   I personally think it's dangerous to do, and that we should avoid it. It would only work for the newest versions(s) of Flink 1.14, and we don't have control over which version is in use. We also don't run tests across different patch releases of any framework.
   
   If you're not, please close this issue. If you would like to patch this into 1.14 conditionally, we'll have to see what other people think as this change could only be applied to Flink versions 1.14.5+ and I don't believe there is any existing precedence for code being changed at the patch level (just the minor version level).
