ezlm confirm unsubscribe/subscribe emails rejected by SMTP server

Hi,

I noticed that if I reply to the Nutch mailing list subscribe / unsubscribe
confirmation request emails without including the message body received
from ezlm, the list manager SMTP server rejects the email as spam, but if I
include the confirmation request text then the email seems to get accepted
for delivery. I'm sending the email from my Gmail account. Here's the error
message I get:

"Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for
the recipient domain nutch.apache.org by mx1.us.apache.org.
[140.211.11.136].

The error that the other server returned was:
552 spam score (5.5) exceeded threshold
(DCC_CHECK,HTML_MESSAGE,RCVD_IN_DNSWL_LOW,SPF_PASS"

Is there some kind of error with the email server spam detection
configuration? If this is the expected behaviour, then the confirmation
email request text could be updated to reflect this behaviour.
