RangeFilter and ConstantScoreRangeQuery

Hello all,

What is the difference in using RangeFilter and ConstantScoreRangeQuery? Any difference in performance?

I am using datetime field (YYYYMMDDhhmm), If i store the field with date precision (YYYYMMDD), Will the range filter be faster?
