Sure you can do that and generate stubs from axis and then create a
client.

Hi. I don't know much about web services. My task is to code a web 
services client that can access some of Google's API's.  I'm not trying
to 
build a web services provider.  I'm going to do a java implementation. 
Can I install Axis on my desktop PC which is running MS?
Then what?
