   @LuciferYang , Thanks for the pointer. 
   I just tested that scenario by adding `monitorInterval=5000` in `./conf/log4j2.properties`. 
   Observation: Log4j2 will not do automatic reconfiguration as the log4j2.properties file is not modified from outside.
