Is it better to remove confirmation dialog for the switching user micro on/off in the user list?

Hi All,

Recently we've got several similar requests from the customers: they asked
to get rid of the confirmation dialog when the moderator turns the user
microphone on or off. I.e. if moderator clicks user's micro icon in the user
list, microphone should turn on/off silently (whereas now confirmation
dialog appears before this). I've also checked this in BBB and iMind and
found that both behave in the same way: micro gets turned on/off without any
confirmation.

The main reason is that it's inconvenient for the moderator to click "Yes"
in the confirm dialog each time he wants to switch the micro settings. The
main "contra" is that moderator can switch somebody off just by mistake very
easy.

If such fix is really helpful, it would be better to have it in open source.

So my question for community is: do you think it's OK to check such
functionality into the main OpenMeetings trunk?

Best regards,

Irina Arkhipets.
