[jira] [Commented] (INFRA-9356) Apache Steve for a CouchDB vote

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-9356?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=14386527#comment-14386527 ]

Daniel Gruno commented on INFRA-9356:
-------------------------------------

yes/no/maybe.
The setup we use for our members meeting requires special access on the machine in order to set up elections, close them and tally votes.
You would have to ask jim to be your election runner if so, and even then, I'm not sure we would be comfortable granting you access to that area, as there is potentially sensitive information there.

What we could do is spin up a VM with pySTeVe on it and give you admin credentials for the API there.
What sort of voting will you be performing? STV? Yes/No/Abstain? stuff with binding/non-binding votes?

> Hi Infra,
> we would like to use Apache Steve for a vote which starts on April 5 for all our committers. I heard we have a hosted version that we probably can use.
> Do you think we get Steve up & running until April 4?
