Richard N. Hillegas commented on DERBY-7165:
--------------------------------------------
The correspondence between Java versions and Derby versions can be found on the download page: https://db.apache.org/derby/derby_downloads.html. I recommend that you bring this request to the attention of whoever produced the Docker image you referenced at https://github.com/apache/shardingsphere/pull/32192.

> - In [https://github.com/apache/shardingsphere/pull/32192] , I noticed that org.apache.derby:derby:10.17.1.0 limits itself to run only on JDK19 - JDK24. It would be nice to provide a Docker Image for Derby Network Server, so that it can be used and unit tested in environments lower than JDK 19 or without JDK.
