System VM's

Hi All,

I added the zone to cloudstack.
When system VM's will be created?
Can anyone briefly explain system VM's and their use?

Hi Chitra,

Cloudstack uses system VM to offload some process from CS MGMT.

1. SSVM :- Secondary storage VM,stores VM templates/ISO's and VHD snapshots.
2. CPVM :- Console Proxy VM...Provide console access of guest VM's.
3. Virtual Routers(DOMR) :- To manage the guest network

Basically the System Vm is debian based VM templates to manage the above
tasks.
