[I] bug(desktop): CUA browser WebView is horizontally offset from side panel [maka]
Sun-GLiang opened a new issue, #5457:
URL: https://github.com/apache/maka/issues/5457
## What happened
The CUA browser's web content surface is horizontally misaligned with the browser panel.
When the browser is docked on the right side of Maka Desktop, the browser chrome (tab strip, address bar, and panel boundary) is positioned correctly, but the page WebView is shifted to the left. The WebView extends outside the browser panel and overlaps the main conversation area, while a large blank/dark strip remains on the right side of the browser panel.
This persists while navigating between pages on GitHub. The page itself remains interactive and uses a mobile responsive layout, but it is rendered at the wrong horizontal origin.
Expected behavior: the WebView should stay fully clipped to the browser panel, begin below the browser toolbar at the panel's left content edge, and fill the available content width without overlapping the conversation or leaving an unexplained blank strip.
## How to reproduce
1. Open Maka Desktop with a conversation visible.
2. Open the CUA browser as a right-side panel.
3. Navigate to `https://github.com/apache/maka`.
4. Navigate between the repository's `/pulls` and `/issues` pages.
5. Observe that the browser toolbar remains aligned with the right panel, but the webpage is rendered left of the panel boundary and overlaps the conversation; the right side of the panel remains blank.
Reproduced consistently across the repository home, Pull Requests, and Issues pages in the same CUA session.
## Environment
- Maka version or commit: `0.2.0` / `672d82731`
- OS and version: macOS 15.6 (24G84)
- Surface: Desktop (CUA browser side panel)
- Node.js version, if running from source: N/A
## Logs, screenshots, or additional context
- On the first navigation, the browser accessibility snapshot reported a `0x0` viewport even though the GitHub DOM loaded.
- After bringing the conversation and browser panel to the foreground, repeated snapshots reported a stable `419x754` viewport on both `/pulls` and `/issues`.
- A screen-level check still showed the `419px`-wide WebView rendered at the wrong horizontal origin: it extended roughly 85 logical pixels into the conversation area and left roughly 125 logical pixels blank on the right side of the browser panel.
- The persistent mismatch between the correctly positioned browser chrome and the displaced WebView suggests that the embedded content bounds/origin are not being synchronized with the docked panel bounds after layout or resize.
