DO NOT REPLY [Bug 44333] OCIEnvNlsCreate() failed. There is
something wrong with your system - please check that LD_LIBRARY_PATH includes
the directory with Oracle Instant Client libraries

I found you have put comment as resolved, but don't see any solution you put.
I have the same problem. Running PHP from shell, i am able to connect using
OCI8.
But from browser using Apache, i am not able to.
OCIEnvNlsCreate() failed. There is something wrong with your system - please
check that LD_LIBRARY_PATH includes the directory with Oracle Instant Client
libraries

Looks like it was a config problem on my side. I made notes on how to get
oracle oci8, apache, php, openssl, mysql, libmcrypt, tomcat, SSI working
together.
Problem solved.

SO, what config problem was?
My phpinfo.php showing LD_LIBRARY_PATH correctly in PHP Variables in _ENV and
also under ENVIRONMENT section as well, after i added LD_LIBRARY_PATH in
APACHE_DIR/bin/envvars.
But still it showing same error.
Please help.
