Groove Development Tools vs Groovy Eclipse?

Hi,

so Eclipse has these 'news' that popup on start. Today I got a popup about
a new version of "Groovy Development Tools". I hadn't known such a thing
exists. Do these two tools cover different areas? What can one do that the
other can't?
