Language pack English GB not working
Dear Sir, Madam,
I run a Dutch version of Open Office 4.1.0. I cannot seem to get the
British English version of the language pack installed properly and I have
no idea why not.
I have installed the language pack correctly (I believe), but in Writer it
does not show English as installed. I was hoping you could help me out.
Thanks in advance.
With kind regards,
Anthon-Pieter Wink

you mean that english is absent from the drop-down list 'tools > options > language settings > languages > language of user interface'?

As of version 4.1.0, a British English language pack gives you the
possibility to see the OpenOffice menus translated into British English.
It does not include a dictionary.
If what you want is to have a British English spell checker, install
http://extensions.openoffice.org/en/project/english-dictionaries-apache-openoffice
and set the language to English (GB).
Regards,
Andrea.

Menu 'Tools - Options - Language Settings - Languages - Language of User
interface' is set to 'English'?
