download files/install in cp
I am installing Xerces for the first time on home system, a Win2KP, and
downloaded a Xerces-J-src.1.2.3.zip file. My question is:
1. Did I need to download another file along with, like xerces.jar ?
2. Do I simply put the compiled classes in my classpath? Not clear on
installation. Any help much appreciated.
Thanks,
Helena Edelson

Xerces.jar is a collection of classes writen in java.It contains all the
classes used by xeces and maybe more.
You should check in the zip file once it's decompressed.
To download the Xerces.jar can be interresting considering capabilities
of your final sofware.
furthermore i send you a copy of my autoexec.bat to answer your question
about the classpath
thanks

Hi,
I am not very sure about the answer but I had implemented xml and java
servlets some time back annd for that to work you need to have xerces.jar
and xalan.jar in your classpath.I hope it works for you as well
