MS SOAP TK 1.0 Multiple out params impossible?

I am stuck on this. I build an ATL COM object returns 4 output parameters.
When calling it from a C++ client all goes well. If I generate it using the
SDL Wizard and call it access it as a SOAP service from a vb client I
allways get an error indicating that the number of parameters is incorrect
or something is wrong with the typing.
Has anyone got this working?
