[VOTE] Release Apache Compress Antlib 1.0
Hi all,
even though the release hasn't been announced yet, Apache Commons
Compress 1.1 has been released and can be downloaded (if you are lucky
enough to be connected to a working mirror, that is)
<http://commons.apache.org/compress/download_compress.cgi>
I've taken revision 987079 of
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/ant/antlibs/compress/tags/1_0/ and
created a distribution from it.
The usual archives can be found at
<http://people.apache.org/~bodewig/compress/>, the Maven artifacts that
will go to the repository are in
<https://repository.apache.org/content/repositories/orgapacheant-128/org/apache/ant/ant-compress/1.0/>
I'd like to release said files as the 1.0 release of the Apache Compress
Antlib, so please cast your vote.
Vote will be running for a week.

I must admit I didn't look into these files. Both get generated from
changes.xml which is empty since this is the first release. Maybe I
should have removed the files.

Installation instructions are in docs/index.html.
I know you have voted +1 (as did Martijn who raised the same issue) but
if you prefer me to reroll the release with a handcrafted README
pointing to docs/ and without a WHATSNEW I can certainly do that.

I notice that the README.html and WHATSNEW are empty apart from
headers. This strikes me as a little odd, particularly the README.html
which I would have expected to include instructions on how to deploy the
Antlib in Ant.
Assuming this omission was intentional, though, I'll give a +1.
