Newbie Questions about Struts!

I'm a newbie for struts.

I have read Struts User's Guide and viewed some source code now. I have two questions about struts.

Q1.Is there any drawback about using struts or not-yet implementated feature to make web apps?(or is there implementation to-do list?)

Q2.Is the framework multi-thread safe?
