[jira] [Created] (PROTON-1443) c proactor - change timeout(0) to mean immediate

Alan Conway created PROTON-1443:
-----------------------------------

Summary: c proactor - change timeout(0) to mean immediate
                 Key: PROTON-1443
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PROTON-1443
             Project: Qpid Proton
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: proton-c
    Affects Versions: 0.17.0
            Reporter: Alan Conway
            Assignee: Alan Conway
             Fix For: 0.18.0

The proactor API defines pn_proactor_timeout(p, 0) to mean "cancel the current timeout" This is confusing, instead change it to mean "timeout immediately" and add pn_proactor_cance_timeoutl(p) to cancel the current timeout.
