Yep, I was looking for an extra day just in case I don't have time to do
the full testing before Friday. Will be at SF on Saturday.
I will do what I can with the time we have ;)

Hi J-M,

The release date would be after HBaseCon - 5/7 - if we hold the vote open
the typical 7 days, and could be longer if any of the RCs sink. I suppose
the question is should I lengthen the voting period? I'm sure I can get RC
testing in here before heading out to SF. Please advise.

Do you expect a go/nogo before HBaseCon? Or after? Might be tight, no?

I managed to tag the RC and commit release changes to the tag, but now am
getting 401s from repository.apache.org and am unable to log in to either
id.apache.org or repository.apache.org. Filed a ticket with infra and
waiting for a response. Calling it a day.
