[RELEASE]: new snapshot build based on trunk revision 1488886

Hi,

I would like to propose a new snapshot build based on trunk revision
1488886 (related snapshot tag revision 1488888).

This snapshot should provide a SDK as well that should work with the
reworked (3layer) directory structure of the office.

@Ariel, please use the configure switch --without-stlport to trigger the
stlport related change from Herbert.

I will start to integrate the first language updates and will provide
further builds later this week for testing the translations.

Regarding the Windows build environment: MSVC2008 is/was a requirement.
Please be aware that for building with --without-stlport its Service
Pack 1 (or newer) is needed, whereas an unpatched MSVC2008 used to
suffice. As the service pack was already released over five years ago
(MSVC2008SP1 was released in May 2008) I hope this actualization
requirement is nothing too unreasonable to ask for. MSVC2008's SP1 was
already documented as requirement in [1].

I did a mistake and forgot to check in the changed d.lst for Python
(issue 122010). It's corrected on the snapshot which is now on revision
1489073.

Sorry for the mistake

Ariel can you give us the details of your system

CentOS -> version ?
gcc - < version ?
...

I know Herbert did builds on older RedHats enterprise Linux version ?
(an older one), I built on Ubuntu 12.04

And we haven't had this problems, Herbert can tell us hopefully more

Yes. I added a build fix for gcc 4.2 and older, so that trunk builds on
my local CentOS5 image, the resulting application looks quite good and
the full suite of autotests were running fine for the last 30hours and
still going strong.

ok thanks for the info. Means we will start a further snapshot including
the first integrated languages later this week.

I hope Herberts last fixes will solve this problem...

Anyway MacOS and Windows versions are uploaded and can be used. A SDK is
also available.

I am currently updating some languages and plan to start a further build
later today

- to solve the Linux problem
- and to include the first language builds (en_GB, es, nl, ru, sk).

fr, pt_BR, hu are in progress

The __builtin_isfinite() is used for for GCC as GCC's bug 14608 [1]
prevents the common isfinite() macro from working reliably. The builtin
should work according to the gcc documentation [2]: "GCC provides
fpclassify, isfinite, isinf_sign and isnormal built-ins used with
__builtin_ prefixed."

[1] http://gcc.gnu.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14608
[2] http://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/Other-Builtins.html

Looking through gcc's sources the builtin was introduced in [3] from
2007-7-18 for gcc 4.3. I'm afraid we'll have to check for older gcc's
there and add another case for the ifdef GCC part.

[3] http://gcc.gnu.org/viewcvs/gcc?view=revision&revision=126725

Considering that isfinite() was in the C99, C++99, SUSv3, etc standards
for almost fifteen years now it is amazing how much trouble such a
two-bit function can still introduce.

Thanks! I added a dependency of stlport to boost.

Build is broken in three places (CentOS x86-64):

1) sal/inc/rtl/math.hxx:

../../inc/rtl/math.hxx: In function 'bool rtl::math::isFinite(double)':
../../inc/rtl/math.hxx:313: error: '__builtin_isfinite' was not declared
in this scope
../../inc/rtl/math.hxx: In function 'bool rtl::math::isInf(double)':
../../inc/rtl/math.hxx:325: error: '__builtin_isfinite' was not declared
in this scope
../../inc/rtl/math.hxx: In function 'bool rtl::math::isNan(double)':
../../inc/rtl/math.hxx:336: error: '__builtin_isfinite' was not declared
in this scope
dmake: Error code 1, while making '../../unxlngi6.pro/obj/math.obj'

In CentOS __GNUC__ seems defined, I see Jürgen added a fix for MACOSX,
so the logic of the defines might be simply not working at all.

2) graphite:

In file included from ../include/graphite/GrCommon.h:35,
                 from ../src/segment/Main.h:31,
                 from ../src/font/FileFont.cpp:16:
/build/aoo/src/clean/svn-trunk/main/solver/400/unxlngi6.pro/inc/stl/vector:31:33:
error: boost/tr1/tr1/vector: No such file or directory

Missing module dependency on boost.

3) main/i18npool/source/localedata/data: segfault in saxparser

/bin/bash: line 1: 32487 Segmentation fault
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/build/aoo/src/clean/svn-trunk/main/solver/400/unxlngi6.pro/lib${LD_LIBRARY_PATH:+:${LD_LIBRARY_PATH}}
../../../unxlngi6.pro/bin/saxparser en_BZ en_BZ.xml
../../../unxlngi6.pro/misc/localedata_en_BZ.cxx
file:///build/aoo/src/clean/svn-trunk/main/i18npool/source/localedata/data/../../../unxlngi6.pro/misc/saxparser.rdb
/build/aoo/src/clean/svn-trunk/main/solver/400/unxlngi6.pro/bin/types.rdb
-env:OOO_INBUILD_SHAREDLIB_DIR=file:///build/aoo/src/clean/svn-trunk/main/solver/400/unxlngi6.pro/lib
dmake: Error code 139, while making
'../../../unxlngi6.pro/misc/localedata_en_BZ.cxx'

The crash is with any of the localedata files. This needs debugging,
I'll take a look later (I don't even have gdb on CentOS).
