Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: MAVEN-186
Summary: empty tags have content.length = 0 instead of content = null
Type: Bug
Status: Assigned
Priority: Minor
Time Spent: Unknown
Estimate: 0 minutes
Project: maven
Component: jelly-integ
Versions:
1.0-beta-7
Assignee: Jason van Zyl
Reporter: Brett Porter
Created: Mon, 6 Jan 2003 8:52 PM
Updated: Mon, 6 Jan 2003 8:52 PM
Description:
jelly tags declared like this:
<xslt ... />
Have a body content that is a valid string of length 0
This is incompatible with ant which has the content as a null string.
This may cause some tags to break - it got my custom tags which I have now changed to check both.
