[jira] [Created] (CLOUDSTACK-3541) VMware: used_bytes is recorded as available_bytes

Mike Tutkowski created CLOUDSTACK-3541:
------------------------------------------

Summary: VMware: used_bytes is recorded as available_bytes
                 Key: CLOUDSTACK-3541
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CLOUDSTACK-3541
             Project: CloudStack
          Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public (Anyone can view this level - this is the default.)
          Components: VMware
    Affects Versions: 4.2.0
Environment: CloudStack management server is running on Mac OS X 10.8.3.
            Reporter: Mike Tutkowski
            Priority: Blocker
             Fix For: 4.2.0

In 4.2 the available_bytes column of the cloud.storage_pool table was changed to be used_bytes.

VMware logic is populating this field the old way still.

For example, if a VMware datastore has 35 GB of capacity and 1 GB is used, it is recorded in used_bytes that this primary storage only has 1 GB of space remaining.
