[ANNOUNCE] Hadoop release 1.0.3 available

Hello,
I'm happy to announce that Hadoop release 1.0.3 is now available.
You may need to wait 24 hours for the release to propagate to some mirrors.

This release includes:
-  4 patches in support of non-Oracle JDKs
>
> -  several patches to clean up error handling and log messages
-  various production issue fixes
