Summary: Child processes don't die. The system use all memory
then stop
Product: Apache httpd-2
Version: 2.0.46
Platform: Other
URL: http://www.fotoxs.nl
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P3
Component: All
AssignedTo: bugs@httpd.apache.org
ReportedBy: bugzilla@arturo-puente.com
CC: bugzilla@arturo-puente.com
Linux Red Hat = 2.4.21-32.0.1.ELsmp
Apache = httpd-2.0.46-45.HSCG
PHP = 4.3.2
The child Apache processes are alive for hours, and their memory consumption
keeps increasing in time. As I know, this should not be the behaviour of the
Apache children. The system get to the top memory usage in about four (4) to
five (5) hours.
I found a similar bug in the knowledge base id=22106, and all I need to know is
if this kind of error was solved in newer releses, to proceed to install the
latest version of Apache.?
Thank you in advanced for your time and help

This kind of question belongs in a user support forum. Please don't
report "bug"s in very old and obsolete versions.
FWIW your server is *very* broken by some software (possibly PHP) running on
it. If I just ask it for http://www.fotoxs.nl/, it sends a response that is
illegal HTTP.
