I split into two. With the [47d106c|https://github.com/apache/groovy/commit/47d106cddc069d0f7c9b3e75f1a35aec44685b03] commit, the new parser is used when compiling unless \{{-Dparser.antlr4=false}}. The completers are still using the old parser but that will be covered by the cloned issue.
