Review Open Issues for the 0.9.0 Release

Hi,

as part of our release process we have to review all open issues (STANBOL-273).

Please, check your issues and update their status. It seems like there
are many issues that could be set to resolved. We need an up-to-date
list for our release.

Best,
 - Fabian

Hi,

I think you don't have to change anything for those issues. The
request was to update issues which are resolved or obsolete but not
marked as such. So having open issues is totally fine.

Demos are not part of the 0.9.0 release anyway.

If you won't have time to work on issues assigned to you, you could
also remove the assignment to indicate this status.

Best,
 - Fabian

Re: Review Open Issues for the 0.9.0 Release

Posted by Enrico Daga <en...@gmail.com>.
Hi all,
I quickly reviewed the issues assigned to me.
Unfortunatly this period I cannot be much involved on Stanbol.
There are three issues which cannot be fixed today (at least not by
me), but that does not affect the actual state of the releasable code:

STANBOL-378 and STANBOL-249 refer to the integrity check demo, which
got unstable after some changes in the REST services due to a natural
evolution of the components. This demo is not part of the release.
Should I mark them as LATER?

STANBOL-386 refers to an evolution of the Commons Jobs component,
needed in the future but not possible today (at least not by me).
Should I also mark this as LATER?

wdyt?

(and thank you guys for your work on this release)

Enrico

This issue refer to a useful improvements that cannot be done before the release

Dear Michel,

thanks for pointing to this. Can you open an issue in JIRA for this?
I'm sure it will be fixed then.

I noticed you added it just a couple of months ago, but in the latest (as of ±3 months ago) JSON-LD spec @coerce doesn't appear anymore. My parser has already removed support for it, so it trips over Stanbol's output now... Can this be made compliant again?

Hi,

how about moving reengineer to the contrib directory too? since there's
no plan for maintaining it at the moment, it could safely stay in the
trunk, only it wouldn't be in the source release (after all it's not
being built by default) and its open tickets would be a lesser problem.

This would also allow us to knock off the kres launcher and profile for
good and close STANBOL-177.

wdyt?

Alessandro

Hi,

I did not see any progress on this issue yet. Please, review the
issues in JIRA and update their status ASAP.

https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STANBOL-273

For a list of open issues you can use this filter which shows 132 open issues

https://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?mode=hide&requestId=12315012

Search for outdated and obsolete issues.
