[jira] Created: (CONTINUUM-1515) SCM Tag does not have a default value

SCM Tag does not have a default value
-------------------------------------

                 Key: CONTINUUM-1515
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/CONTINUUM-1515
             Project: Continuum
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Jeremy Wortzman

In Continuum Release, the "Prepare Project for Release" page does not default a value for the SCM Tag field.

It should default to artifactId-version. I believe this already happens with 'mvn release:prepare' at the command line.

[jira] Updated: (CONTINUUM-1515) SCM Tag does not have a default value

Posted by "Wendy Smoak (JIRA)" <ji...@codehaus.org>.

Wendy Smoak updated CONTINUUM-1515:
-----------------------------------

    Affects Version/s: 1.1-beta-3

Tested in Continuum 1.1-beta-3 and it does not suggest a tag name.

On the other hand, release:prepare at the command line for the same project suggests artifactId-version.

[jira] Commented: (CONTINUUM-1515) SCM Tag does not have a default value

Wendy Smoak commented on CONTINUUM-1515:
----------------------------------------

What version does this affect? I'm fairly sure Continuum does now have a default for the tag name. In fact CONTINUUM-1503 against 1.1-beta-3 is complaining that the default isn't what it should be.
