Recognize tense of sentence and change voice
I want to do following two tasks :
Recognize tense of a sentence ,
Change voice of a sentence
If I am not wrong I can do it with rule based way or statistical way
If statistical way :
Can I create a model that recognizes tenses ?
If yes how can I create model for the same?
Will it work with Stanford NLP like API ?
How will I read model if I do this way?

The part of speech tags you get back from the POS tagger give you a pretty
good guess at the tense of the verb.
By change of voice do you mean that you want to switch between active and
passive? If so you can manipulate the trees produced by the parse to
passivize the sentence.
