The follow up doesn't solve the problem:

The bug depends on the installation. I have two vmware-machines running XP.
Both with SP2. There ist one machine with, the other without the crash.

Depenency check outputs the same dlls you commented.

I'd like to compile and debug apache, but the priority is not high because I
can run apache on the other virtual machine or on a virtual machine with linux.

Hello,

same situation with WinXP SP2.

After doing a dependency check on libapr-1.dll, it seems that following dlls
are in cause:

ADVAPI32.DLL
SHLWAPI.DLL
USER32.DLL
MPR.DLL
DWMAPI.DLL

Is there a followup for this bug???

Thanks,

Tanguy Mezzano

Unpack the corresponding symbols directly into your apache 2.2 directory tree,
which you will find at;

http://www.apache.org/dist/httpd/binaries/win32/symbols/

and provide the dr watson crash backtrace.  See;

http://httpd.apache.org/dev/debugging.html

for more info.
