In projects, we've frequently met the need of copying existing metastore to other database (for other version of hive or other engines like impala, tajo, spark, etc.). RDBs support dumping data of metastore into series of SQLs but it's needed to be translated before apply if we uses different RDB which is time counsuming, error-prone work.
