Problem in Subversion Installation

Sir
I want Silk Source code and so I started
installing Subversion. I installed but when i want to
check whether Subevrsion successfullly installed or
not I executed :
svn checkout https://svn.collab.net/repos/svn/trunk
subversion

I am getting error as followed:
subversion/libsvn_ra_dav/session.c:608:
(apr_err=175000)
svn: SSL is not supported
         I included --enable-ssl in ./configure script
but stillt this error is followed. Why I am facing
this error . Can anyone help me.

If Subversion client will be installed
soccessfully then how shd I configure the httpd.conf
file in apache .

I need Silk to be installed as soon as possible for
which I need the source code immediately.

Thanking you.

Indraveni,

You seem to be a bit confused.

You want silk (from silk-project.org) yes?
silk-project.org provides an anonymous subversion server to supply the code.
You need a subversion client to access this server.

You do not "have" to run a subversion server yourself, unless you wish
to use subversion to maintain your own local version control on your
projects.

So you do not need to figure out which server access mechanism you
wish to implement and configure.

You did not provide much in the way of hints of whether you are useing
BE or OS/2 or something else, so that we could provide command line
instructions.

If you can execute svn from a command line, it is installed.

Read the documentation at http://svnbook.red-bean.com/ to understand
how to use the system.

Good Hunting
