[jira] [Created] (CAMEL-15430) Potentially incorrect log placeholders

Otavio Rodolfo Piske created CAMEL-15430:
--------------------------------------------

             Summary: Potentially incorrect log placeholders
                 Key: CAMEL-15430
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-15430
             Project: Camel
          Issue Type: Bug
    Affects Versions: 3.5.0
            Reporter: Otavio Rodolfo Piske

While investigating an issue I found some circumstances where invalid log placeholders are present. They would cause the log messages to be printed like this:

``` Error message: {}```
It's a minor issue, but could be confusing for debugging.
Here's one example: https://github.com/apache/camel/blob/4ea9e6c357371682b855d2d79655b41120331b7a/core/camel-xml-jaxp/src/main/java/org/apache/camel/converter/jaxp/XmlConverter.java#L1005
The last item, the exception object, will not be displayed. Instead, the stackTrace will be printed and the {} will be shown on the message.
This also happens on 3.4.3.
