This is not trivial at all. If you are trying to use outlines with points, for
instance, which is a sensible choice given that font sizes are in points, it is
a nightmare. Have personally wasted many hours trying to find out what the
problem was, and almost always when under pressure trying to get something
important done.

This really deters users because there is a major problem in Open Office which
renders it unusable, and outlines are used mainly by serious users.
