WestIsland site uses Lucene .

WestIsland portal site,  http://www.westisland.ca
 
Implemented using Tomcat 4 + PostgreSQL .
 
Uses Lucene to search inside submitted sites inside Geo-Directory .
 
Sites' pages are retrieved by Spider and are parsed .
