Kevin,

One possibility is to have a second sqlStatement specifically
for exceptions (or throwables) and to format the throwable in the
following manner:

String[] s = event.getThrowableStrRep();
if(s != null) {
   StringBuffer buf = new StringBuffer();
   for(int i = 0; i < s.length; i++) {
     buf.append(s[i]);
     buf.append("\r\n");
   }
}
// now write to database using the SQL statement
// for throwables and buf variable.

Just a thought...
