AW: offo hyphenation with exceptions - Solution
Hi everybody,
Further research with org.apache.fop.hyphenation.Hyphenator indicated: The exception section of the hyphenation XML is indeed parsed and processed. My file did not work because HyphenationTree.hyphenate transfers the word-to-be-hyphenated to lower case. <exceptions>AQUASYSTEM</exceptions> does not work, <exceptions>aquasystem</exceptions> works. Wildcards are not supported, <exceptions>aquasystem</exceptions> prevents hyphenation of aquasystem, not of aquasystems.

Hi everybody,
Does anybody have an example for a hyphenation file with exceptions? I tried
<exceptions>
.AC/DC .AgNi .ANSI .AQUASYSTEM
.ASi. .ASTM. .CABS Tangit. .COOLFIT
.CCS .CMP .CNC .CONTAIN-IT
</exceptions>
and
<exceptions>
AC/DC AgNi ANSI AQUASYSTEM
ASi ASTM CABS Tangit COOLFIT
CCS CMP CNC CONTAIN-IT
</exceptions>
but in any case, the exceptions are not honored and I was not able to find an example for a correct hyphenation xml.
