[PR] KAFKA-21331: Correct tested OS documentation [kafka]

srv9989 opened a new pull request, #24006:
URL: https://github.com/apache/kafka/pull/24006

   Summary
Updates the operating system documentation to remove the outdated claim that Apache Kafka is tested on Solaris.

The revised wording preserves the expected compatibility with Unix-like operating systems while accurately stating that Kafka is tested on Linux.

   Verification
   * Confirmed that Kafka's GitHub Actions workflows use Ubuntu Linux runners.
   * Inspected a successful JUnit test job running on Ubuntu Linux.
   * Searched the repository for Solaris references and found only the outdated documentation statement.
   * Ran git diff --check successfully.
   Changes
   * Updated one sentence in docs/operations/hardware-and-os.md.
   * No functional or Java code changes.
