Hi,
Where can I find the targeted release date of 0.92.0?
Thanks.

lol. I hope Atlassian do not add such a graph.
I was going to do a bit of weeding (Looks like I'll need to bring a
chainsaw) and cut out all but some small set. TRUNK is nice and fat
with features and bug fixes. Time to push it out as 0.92.

Hi,
From http://s.apache.org/x4, there are 178 open issues (40%).
Btw, it would be cool if the Atlassian guys would provide a graph
showing the evolution in time of that number. Are we more on the rising
or descending side?
Tks,

I wouldn't rely on any dates. :) I'd look at the number of remaining open JIRA
issues with that target version.

RE: completebulkload Exception

Hi,
This has been discussed before.
Find the thread:
Help with NPE during bulk load (completebulkload)
Completebulkload doesn't load the HBase configuration properly
Try :
completebulkload -Dhbase.cluster.distributed=true /tmp/output myTable

completebulkload Exception

Hi,
There was a exception found when I use completebulkload.
Is there anything wrong with my format in zoo.cfg?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

completebulkload /tmp/output myTable

Re: bulk load map/reduce sample code

Fleming,
You can use the importtsv tool with the bulk load option
(-Dimporttsv.bulk.output=path) and the "," delimiter; and then follow
it up with the completebulkload tool to finish a bulk load.
For help like usage, etc.; Run the following (Commands relative to HBASE_HOME):
$ HADOOP_CLASSPATH=`bin/hbase classpath` hadoop jar
hbase-0.90.1-cdh3u0.jar importtsv
$ HADOOP_CLASSPATH=`bin/hbase classpath` hadoop jar
hbase-0.90.1-cdh3u0.jar completebulkload
If you would like to read the importtsv Map/Reduce code, you can do so
on GitHub with some good syntax highlights:
https://github.com/apache/hbase/blob/0.90/src/main/java/org/apache/hadoop/hbase/mapreduce/ImportTsv.java

bulk load map/reduce sample code
Posted by hm...@tsmc.com.
Hi,
I am planning to use bulk load to import my csv file into HBase0.90.
Is there any bulk load map/reduce sample code?
Thank you very much.
