It seems Eclipse foundation just rolled out EPL v2.0

Hi!

it seems The Eclipse Foundation just rolled out a new version of EPL:
    https://www.eclipse.org/legal/epl-2.0/

I'm curious whether we need to get proactive here, especially since
EPL v1.0 is Cat-A but there may be some provisions in v2.0 that may
require us to consider a different categorization.

Or: do we just assume a 'lazy evaluation' approach and wait for the
corresponding LEGAL JIRA to materialize?

Thanks,
Roman.

I've already submitted the LEGAL JIRA, to be able to provide critical
feedback to the Eclipse Foundation around the proposed EE4J (new
project/name for Java EE).

I'd opt for lazy, if we were waiting for an "if". However, in the case
of EPL there is no "if", but only a "when". Let's do it know and be
done with it.

It couldn't hurt to have /legal/resolved explciitly state "EPL 2.0 has not been categorized".

It does say "EPL 1.0" now, but it's not unlikely that someone out there would ignore the version number.

Yes. Sorry about the confusion. Typos when you can least afford them :-(

Thanks,
Roman.

Isn't EPL 1.0 Cat-B?
