Can we host Kylin on MAPR Distribution

Hi,

I'm new to Kylin and trying to understand how it works and what kind of
capabilities it has realted to MOLAPO on Hadoop.

I knew that Kylin is compatible for CLOUDERA and HORTONWORKS. But, could
you please confirm whether it can be hosted on MAPR distribution as well?

Kindly direct me to find the developer guide or any other documentation
which helps me to get good understanding on "how to work with Kylin".

Appreciate your response. Thanks for your help.

Regards,
Ramesh V

Kylin does not depends on specified Hadoop/Hive/HBase version and feature
so far, any compatible distribution with Hadoop 2.4+ should be fine.
But we do not actually tested yet with MapR, and no idea if there's any
others have experience already.
Please just go and let's know if there's any issue, reply to this mailing
list or fire JIRA ticket, we will take care of such issue.

BTW, this also could apply to any other distribution of Hadoop, really need
more volunteers to help testing with different edition and version.

Thank you very much

Luke

Best Regards!

Yes. Kylin should work in any recent version of any of the major hadoop distributions.
