There is basic windows support, if you download the "Simple Server Package" i.e. asterix-server , you should be able to follow the quick setup instructions (https://ci.apache.org/projects/asterixdb/ncservice.html) replacing shell scripts with batch files where appropriate. Everything should be present but you will encounter oddness with path names (e.g. instead of / you will have to say \\\ ) and perhaps other small issues, but everything should largely work otherwise.
