[jira] [Created] (CB-1516) FileTransfer.abort() has a significant delay before aborting

Andrew Grieve created CB-1516:
---------------------------------

Summary: FileTransfer.abort() has a significant delay before aborting
                 Key: CB-1516
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-1516
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Android
    Affects Versions: 2.2.0
            Reporter: Andrew Grieve
            Assignee: Andrew Grieve
            Priority: Minor
             Fix For: 2.2.0

For this to work, we need to abort the connection right away instead of waiting for the pending read() / write() to finish.

Looks like we should use java.nio for this to be possible (bug-free) on Android.

Note that there currently exist failing mobile-spec tests for this.
