PathConvert task only allows single character path separators
Summary: PathConvert task only allows single character path
separators
Product: Ant
Version: 1.4.1
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: Minor
Priority: Other
Component: Core tasks
AssignedTo: ant-dev@jakarta.apache.org
ReportedBy: alan_f_gates@yahoo.com
The PathConvert task does not allow for path separators to be more than one
character.
So if you give it this:
<pathconvert pathsep="\\" property="newpath" refid="oldpath">
the path separators in newpath are set to \, not \\.
I checked the source code, and confirmed that it is only taking the first
character from the string given in the pathsep attribute.
